The IAG Triple-Pass Competition Series 55mm Radiator is a high-performance all-aluminum radiator engineered for 2008–2014 Subaru WRX and 2008–2021 STI models (GV/GR/VA chassis). Designed to outperform the OEM radiator, this lightweight upgrade is ideal for competition use and heavily modified engines that generate excessive heat. Its robust aluminum construction delivers superior heat dissipation, helping maintain optimal engine temperatures even in extreme driving conditions, making it an excellent choice for maximum cooling performance and reliability.

This radiator features IAG’s advanced triple-pass design, which uses internal baffles within the end tanks to route coolant through the core three times from inlet to outlet. Compared to the factory single-pass design, this approach keeps coolant in the radiator longer, resulting in a substantial improvement in heat transfer. On average, the triple-pass configuration provides a 10–20 percent increase in cooling efficiency over the stock radiator, ensuring consistent thermal control during aggressive driving and competition scenarios.

Constructed entirely from lightweight yet durable aluminum, the IAG 55mm Competition Series Triple-Pass Radiator resists cracking, warping, and corrosion under high temperatures. Aluminum’s excellent thermal conductivity allows heat to be absorbed and dissipated quickly as coolant flows through the radiator, while its corrosion resistance ensures long-term reliability. Manufactured in the USA, this radiator is built to withstand the demands of high-performance applications.

The Competition Series Radiator features a large 55mm (2.165”) core and is designed to work with OEM radiator fans using the factory mounting locations. The lower outlet remains in the stock position and utilizes the included lower hose, while the upper inlet is relocated and requires the included IAG 4-ply silicone upper radiator hose. A welded -6 AN male fitting is provided for applications requiring a coolant expansion tank, and a -6 AN female cap is included for setups that do not use this fitting.
